NIB co-finances biogas production in Eskilstuna, Sweden

The Nordic Investment Bank (NIB) and Eskilstuna Biogas AB have signed a 18-year loan to co-finance the construction of a new biogas production plant in a facility near Eskilstuna, Sweden.The EUR 15 million loan is supported by the European Union under the InvestEU programme and is eligible under NIB’s InvestEU Framework Operation Green Mobility and Transport.   Eskilstuna Biogas was established with the aim of building and operating a greenfield biogas facility in Eskilstuna. NIB finances fibre optic broadband investments in Norway

The Nordic Investment Bank (NIB) has signed a 10-year loan agreement with Eidsiva Energi AS to develop the digital infrastructure in Innlandet County during 2022-2024.The NOK 500 million (EUR 49.73 million) loan will finance investments to increase the number of active fibre optic broadband network clients from 75,000 to approximately 100,000 in Innlandet County by 2024. NIB finances new section of E18 motorway in Norway

The Nordic Investment Bank (NIB) and the Norwegian toll-road operator Ferde AS have signed a NOK 1 billion (EUR 104.5 million) loan with a maturity of 17.5 years to finance the construction of a new section of motorway between Tvedestrand and Arendal in Aust-Agder County. The Nordic Investment Bank (NIB) and Sweden’s Sparbanken Skåne have agreed on a loan programme totalling SEK 500 million (EUR 52 million) for on-lending to SMEs, small mid-caps, and environmental projects.
