Board member in Nordic Mining ASA, Per Havdal has passed away after a period of illness. Havdal has been a board member in Nordic Mining ASA since the company's registration in May 2006 and has participated in preparations in connection with establishment of the company from 2005.

 

Chairman of the Board of Directors Dag Dvergsten and CEO Ivar S. Fossum in Nordic Mining ASA comment jointly: "The Board of Directors and the management team in Nordic Mining have for several years had the opportunity and pleasure to draw heavily on Per Havdal's extensive experience from the mining industry. With his solid knowledge and industrial network, Havdal has given an important contribution to the development of Nordic Mining. We are proud and extremely thankful that Per Havdal in his retirement age gave priority to Nordic Mining as a new and foreward-looking initiative in the Norwegian mining industry."
