Nordic Mining ASA announces that Dag Dvergsten, Chairman, has elected to step down from the Board with effect from 14 September 2011. Dag Dvergsten has asked to leave the board due to a heavy workload related to other business areas of his company Dag Dvergsten AS.  Dvergsten also suggests that a change in the board composition this autumn will secure a better continuity for the board work, since a large share of the board members are to be elected in the spring of 2012.

The Vice Chairman of the Board, Camilla Fiskevoll, who has been a board member since 2006 will function as acting chairman as from 14 September 2011 until a new and permanent chairman has been elected.
