NOMI - Board member and management share purchase

Members of the Board of Directors and the management team of Nordic Mining ASA have purchased shares in the company. Ottar Nakken (Board member) has purchased 450,000 shares at an average price of NOK 1.32 per share. Prior to the purchase Nakken had no shares in Nordic Mining. Consequently, Nakken's new shareholding is 450,000 shares. Nakken has an option to buy 60,000 shares at a price of NOK 6.97 per share. Lars K. Grøndahl (CFO) has purchased 50,027 shares at an average price of NOK 1.50 per share. Prior to the purchase Grøndahl had 1,102,199 shares in Nordic Mining, and his new shareholding is 1,152,226 shares. In addition, Grøndahl has an option to buy 275,000 shares at a price of NOK 6.97 per share. Oslo, 12th December 2006 Nordic Mining ASA
