Vice President for Exploration and Development, Mr. Brian J. Ballou died in an accident on Monday September 10, 2007 during field work at the company's pre-claims in Laksådalen in Nordland county, Norway. Ballou was an American citizen, and was married with three children.

 

Brian J. Ballou took up his position in Nordic Mining in August 2007, and he had comprehensive experience from the mining industry in Norway as well as internationally.
