NOMI - Geological exploration
Nordic Mining has started geological surveys at Målvika in Nordland county and at Stjernøya in Finnmark county.
Preliminary results from surveys at Målvika indicate lower grade of tungsten than reported from previous surveys from the area. The company awaits the final report from the surveys. Further geological surveys and exploration will be decided based on the final report.
Preliminary results from surveys at Stjernøya have given no indication of thorium, however low grades of uranium have been observed. Final report from the surveys will be received in a few months, and further geological surveys and exploration will be decided based on the final report.
