Nordic Mining has employed Mr. Brian J. Ballou as Vice Pesident Exploration and Development.
Mr. Ballou comes from the position as Mine Manager in Titania AS, one of the world's largest producers of concentrate feeding for the titanium dioxide industry.

 

Mr. Ballou has a university degree in Mining Engineering from the University of Idaho. He is a Registered professional mining Engineer and member of SME (Society of Mining Engineers).

 

Mr. Ballou has broad, international experience from various management positions in the mining industry, i.a. Crew Gold, Cominco American and US Gold Corporation. Mr. Ballou was a key person in the development of Nalunaq gold project on Greenland, the Mindoro nickel project in the Philliphines and the Ruby garnet mine in Montana, USA. His background covers both precious and base metals as well as industrial minerals.

 

Ballou will take up his new appointment in August, and he will be member of the executive management group in Nordic Mining.
