As per 10 June 2008 Bernhard Mellbye, Chairman of the Board of Nordic Mining ASA, has received unconditional proxies for a total of 10,465,486 shares, or approximately 12 % of the share capital, for the ordinary General Meeting in Nordic Mining ASA to be held 19 June 2008. The voting rights given through proxies come in addition to Mr. Mellbye's own 60,577 shares.

 

Bernhard Mellbye's voting rights at the Annual General Meeting thus pass the 10 % threshold. The proxies are valid only for the Annual General Meeting.
