Strengthening of group management: New Chief Financial Officer

Nordic Mining expands its management and has appointed new Chief Financial Officer to strengthen its financial operations going forward. 

Nordic Mining has appointed Birte Norheim as new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) effective from 1 August 2018. Norheim has broad management experience from various companies in the oil and gas sector. Her background includes positions as Chief Accountant and Financial Analyst in M-I Swaco, Group Controller and VP Finance in Sevan Marine ASA and Finance Director and CEO in Njord Gas Infrastructure AS. She has extensive experience from international capital markets as well as financial strategy and management. Norheim has a Bachelor in Business Management and a Master in Applied Finance from Queensland University of Technology, Australia.

Current CFO Lars K. Grøndahl will continue in his position until Norheim takes office and will continue in the group management team with special focus on strategic financial planning.
