Nordic Mining's proposal for development plan with environmental impact studies related to contemplated production of rutile at Engebøfjellet has been initially assessed by Naustdal municipality's planning council. In its meeting 4 June 2009, the planning council resolved to put the proposal out for public hearing with the purpose to obtain response and comments to the proposal. The hearing period will be till end of September 2009.
