Voting rights Extraordinary General Meeting

As per 22 February 2010, Dag Dvergsten, Chairman of the Board of Nordic Mining ASA, has received proxies for a total of 4,070,680 shares, or approximately 3.5% of the share capital, for the Extraordinary General Meeting in Nordic Mining ASA to be held 1 March 2010. In addition, Dag Dvergsten through companies controls 8,735,655 shares, or approximately 7.6% of the share capital in Nordic Mining ASA.

As a consequence, Dag Dvergsten will represent 12,806,335 shares similar to approximately 11.1% of the voting rights at the Extraordinary General Meeting. The proxies are valid only for the Extraordinary General Meeting.
