Nordlo Sustainability Report 2024: “Our sustainability work strengthens new acquisitions”
Nordlo's Sustainability Report for 2024 shows how the company is stepping up its efforts to comply with the EU's new CSRD regulations, setting science-based climate targets in accordance with the Science Based Target Initiative (SBTi) and investing in secure and circular IT.
“The impact of our sustainability work is clearly evident in company acquisitions, where we contribute processes and tools,” says Evelina Pallin, Sustainability Manager at Nordlo.

This year's sustainability report is a first step towards reporting in accordance with the EU's new directive on sustainability reporting (CSRD), which requires companies to report on the impact, risks and opportunities associated with sustainability issues in the value chain.
Sustainability work is particularly important in company acquisitions, which are a central part of Nordlo's growth model. By providing processes, tools and knowledge to new subsidiaries, we ensure that sustainability permeates the entire organisation, from management to the operational level.
"For many smaller companies, it is difficult to meet the requirements. Through our acquisitions, sustainability becomes an integral part of the strategic work for the new companies as well, which has an impact at all levels.”
Updated goals and increased transparency
During the year, Nordlo conducted a double materiality analysis to identify the most important sustainability issues. The analysis has formed the basis for the company's updated focus areas: climate and circularity, diversity and inclusion, safety and responsible business.
Examples of long-term priority goals:
- Net zero emissions by 2040
- Increase the number of female employees, especially in management and technical roles
- 100% reuse and recycling of IT equipment
- 100% of significant acquisitions and suppliers evaluated against ESG criteria
Responsibility for industry emissions
In 2024, Nordlo continued to work on its commitment to set science-based climate targets in accordance with the Science Based Target initiative (SBTi) and reduce the company's greenhouse gas emissions. Through an increased focus on energy-efficient and circular services, Nordlo is helping to reduce both emissions and resource consumption – both internally and on behalf of its customers.
