Nordstjernan completes acquisition of PMC Group and forms Dacke Industri

• Today, Nordstjernan completed its acquisition of 100 percent of the shares in PMC Group AB (“PMC”)
  
  
• PMC is one of the leading Nordic suppliers of hydraulics, pneumatics and lubrication solutions to OEM customers and industrial end users
  
  
• Nordstjernan forms the wholly owned Dacke Industri AB (“Dacke Industri”), with the objective to invest in technology companies focused on customized system solutions and components

Nordstjernan has appointed Börje Vernet as CEO of Dacke Industri. Mr. Vernet is currently President of the Nordstjernan-owned Rosti Group, but will step down from his position at Rosti during the first quarter of 2016 to work full-time at Dacke Industri.

With this organization, we want to create good conditions for growth for the various technology businesses, across the Nordic region as well as globally. We also intend to make further acquisitions in the area.”, says Börje Vernet, incoming CEO of Dacke Industri.

Dacke Industri will thus become the new parent company of the following businesses:

• PMC Hydraulics Group AB, with a number of subsidiaries within hydraulics
• PMC Cylinders AB
• PMC Lubrication AB
• PMC Swedrive AB
• The pneumatic and door systems business in Finland, which forms an independent unit under the leadership of Tomi Ojala

The current President and CEO of PMC, Mikael Andersson, will step down from his position at his own request. Mr. Andersson will work to support the new management until the date of his retirement on March 31, 2016.

Nordstjernan has appointed Mikael Lundgren as CEO of PMC Hydraulics Group AB. Mr. Lundgren was previously Vice President of PMC Group Accounts, with responsibility for PMC’s major global customers.

Nordstjernan has appointed the current CFO of PMC, Ulf Fridlund, to CFO of PMC Hydraulics Group AB. In addition, Mr. Fridlund will also assume the role of CFO of Dacke Industri.

The other senior executives within the Group will remain unchanged.
