82% Load Factor, 163% increase in RPK and 103% Increase in Passenger Numbers mark a successful end to Winter season
March demonstrated a strong end to the winter flying season with impressive year on year increases across all key figures. The month saw an average load factor of 82 per cent, representing an increase of 22 percentage points (p.p.) year on year. During March, Norse Atlantic Airways had 85,652 passengers across 324 flights, including 46 charter flights. 73 per cent of flights arrived within 15 minutes of their scheduled arrival time with a completion rate of 100 per cent.
"Norse has ended the winter season with positive growth across all key figures, I am especially pleased to report a doubling of passenger numbers and almost a threefold increase in RPK year on year. We are now heading into the busy summer season fully prepared to operate 12 aircraft at the height of the peak months and welcome even more passengers on board.
Additionally, we operated 46 charter flights in March, the highest in a single month since operations began. The continued month on month increase in charter operations further demonstrates the growing Norse presence in the wide body charter market and the trust that our charter customers place in our ability to successfully cater for their needs," said Bjorn Tore Larsen, CEO and Founder Norse Atlantic Airways.
