Last year Norse Atlantic Airways was globally lauded for being the first airline to land a Boeing 787 Dreamliner on a ‘blue ice runway’, 3,000 meters long and 60 meters wide, at Troll Airfield Antarctica, on behalf of the Norwegian Polar Institute. This exceptional flight, brokered by Aircontact, demonstrated both the technical and operational excellence of Norse Atlantic in executing challenging charter operations.
