Norse Atlantic Airways is pleased to announce that starting today the U.S. Transportation Security Administration has approved the airlines' participation in TSA PreCheck®.

Eligible Norse Atlantic Airways passengers departing from U.S. airports will now be able to enjoy a quicker airport experience thanks to expedited security screening. TSA PreCheck is currently available at more than 200 airports with over 90 participating airlines nationwide.

“Joining TSA PreCheck® marks an important step for Norse Atlantic Airways and our customers. We are now able to offer a more pleasant and efficient airport experience in the U.S. to customers who are already enrolled members of TSA PreCheck. We encourage customers eligible to join TSA PreCheck® to apply for TSA’s program without delay so that they may avail themselves of the benefits offered by the program,” said Bjorn Tore Larsen, CEO Norse Atlantic Airways.

TSA PreCheck is available for eligible passengers enrolled in the program when departing from a U.S. airport. Travelers who are U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals and U.S. lawful permanent residents can apply for TSA PreCheck for a cost of $78 for a five-year membership. Passengers who are members of TSA PreCheck and other DHS Trusted Traveler programs, such as Global Entry, Nexus, or Sentri are also eligible for TSA PreCheck screening. To find the program that best suits your travel needs, use the Department of Homeland Security trusted traveler comparison tool. TSA PreCheck is also available at no cost for U.S. Armed Forces service members, including those serving in the U.S. Coast Guard, Reserves, and National Guard.
