Arendal, 14 April 2023: Norse Atlantic Airways has released the initial wave of winter 2023 flights available for sale including services between London to New York JFK, Orlando, Los Angeles, Fort Lauderdale-Miami, Washington DC and Boston, and Paris to New York JFK. The airline additionally marked a double celebration on 26th March with the inaugural flights between Paris and New York JFK and the first London to New York JFK flight operated by the UK AOC. As a consequence of the operational launch of the UK AOC the company took the decision to discontinue the London to Oslo route following low overall demand and poor load factor performance.

“We are very pleased with the continued momentum of forward bookings across our network following the launch of our full summer schedule in February which saw multiple sales records broken on consecutive days. With a sustained focus on ancillary choice throughout the customer journey and by offering a consistent approach combined with greater passenger numbers we are looking forward to a successful summer ahead,” said Bjorn Tore Larsen, CEO Norse Atlantic Airways.

During March, Norse Atlantic Airways recorded an aggregate load factor for the month of 60 per cent, including charter operations, up from 50 per cent the previous month. Norse Atlantic Airways operated a total 223 flights. 73 per cent of operated flights arrived within 15 minutes of the scheduled arrival time, compared to 80 per cent the prior month. Norse Atlantic carried 42,143 passengers in March.

Key traffic figures for March are attached.
