In November, Norse Atlantic Airways continued to demonstrate strong year on year performance, additionally the airline completed one charter to Antarctica and four ACMI flights. The month saw an average load factor of 61 per cent, representing an increase of 11 percentage points (p.p.) year on year. During November, Norse Atlantic Airways had 48,839 passengers across 242 flights, with 84 per cent of flights arriving within 15 minutes of their scheduled arrival time and a completion rate of 100 per cent.

“The month of November represents the full transition to our Winter schedule as we reduced the number of operated flights in line with demand and transitioned to focusing on charter and ACMI opportunities while continuing to maintain our industry leading 100 per cent completion rate.

I am especially proud that Norse Atlantic was chartered by Aircontact on behalf of the Norwegian Polar Institute to operate a flight to Antarctica to transport scientists and equipment to this remote and challenging part of the world. This historic flight, that was reported on by media from across the globe, represented a milestone for Norse Atlantic as we successfully landed the first Boeing 787 Dreamliner on the Antarctic ice shelf. We have subsequently received a large volume of diverse charter enquiries from operators looking to utilise both our experienced crew and our modern fleet,” said Bjorn Tore Larsen, CEO and Founder Norse Atlantic Airways.

Key traffic figures for November are attached.
