DELAY IN FILING OF 2012 ANNUAL ACCOUNTS AND REPORT – CHANGE IN FINANCIAL CALENDAR

Norse Energy Corp. ASA ("NEC" ticker Oslo Stock Exchange, Norway) announces a delay in filing its 2012 Annual Accounts and Report and a change in its financial calendar. Due to the ongoing discussions for a refinancing of NEC ASA and its subsidiaries, the Company will not be able to file its 2012 Annual Account and Annual Report within 30 April 2013. It is expected that the 2012 Annual Accounts and Annual Report will be filed within end of May 2013. Consequently, the Annual General Meeting will not be held 31 May 2013 as previously reported. The exact date of the filing of the 2012 Annual Accounts and Annual Report as well as the date for the Annual General Meeting will be notified to the market as soon as the information is available to the Company.

The Company has a significant land position of ~130,000 net acres in New York State with certified 2C contingent resources of 951 MMBOE as of 31 December 2012.
