Mark Dice, CEO of Norse Energy will present at IPAA OGIS Oil and Gas Symposium in San Francisco, CA

ASA (“NEC” ticker code OSE – NEC, Oslo, Norway, U.S OTCQX symbol “NSEEY”) is pleased to announce that Mr. Mark Dice, the Company's CEO and President, will be presenting at the IPAA's OGIS, Oil and Gas Investment Symposium in San Francisco on Wednesday, October 14 at 2:50pm, Pacific time followed by a breakout session. This will be his first presentation as CEO of Norse Energy. He will provide an update on Norse's corporate strategy, including the status of the 3D Seismic and the continuation of Herkimer drilling in New York State.

Norse Energy has total contingent resources of ~4 TCF (~713 MMBOE) at the end of 2009. The Company has significant land position of 180,000 directly and indirectly controlled acres in New York State.
