Norse Energy Corp. ASA (“NEC” ticker code OSE – NEC, Oslo, Norway, U.S OTC symbol “NSEEY”)

Norse has acquired the last outstanding right of way segment along its 87 mile gas gathering trunk line corridor to provide access to the majority of Norse’s 130,000 lease acreage position in central New York. In addition to new delivery points on Dominion Transmission Inc. scheduled for completion this fall, major points of interconnection will eventually include Tennessee Gas Pipeline and Millennium Gas Pipeline, near the PA border. These interconnections will provide accessibility to some of the highest priced natural gas markets in the US.

“We are entering a new and exciting phase aimed at achieving the full potential of our targeted gas pipeline corridor in central New York, thereby enhancing the value of our land position,” said Øivind Risberg, CEO. “This represents the successful completion of an acquisition process begun over 2 years ago,” concluded Risberg.
