Notice of Extraordinary General Meeting

Norse Energy Corp. ASA (“NEC” ticker Oslo Stock Exchange, Norway; “NSEEY” ticker U.S. OTC) advises the Board of Directors (“Board”) of Norse Energy Corp. ASA (the “Company”) has today resolved to call for an Extraordinary General Meeting to be held on July 5, 2012 in Oslo.

Please find attached the calling notice with appendices. The calling notice has also been posted on the Company’s website. Among the proposals to the General Meeting, the Board has proposed issuance of a convertible loan and a capital reduction by way of reducing the par value of the shares, please see the attached.
