Q3 2010 Production Update

Norse Energy Corp. ASA (“NEC” ticker code OSE – NEC, Oslo, Norway, U.S OTCQX symbol “NSEEY”) is pleased to announce production volumes for the third quarter, 2010.

Natural gas production from the US gas wells (before royalty) is estimated to have averaged 6,538 Mcf/day (1,165 boe/day) in the third quarter. This represents a decrease of approximately 9% from the second quarter 2010 production level of 7,155 Mcf/day (1,274 boe/day). The change in production can be attributed to the natural decline of producing wells, as no new wells were added to the field during the third quarter.  

The volume is based on daily meter readings at the company's Central New York compressor stations. Final production numbers, to be reported in the third quarter financial statements may deviate somewhat from this volume.
