Record Production in the US

Norse Energy Corp. ASA (“NEC” ticker code OSE – NEC, Oslo, Norway, U.S OTC symbol “NSEEF”) is pleased to announce that the Company today reached a new all time high for its US natural gas production, now producing in excess of 6 000 Mcf (1 071 BOE) per day. After the divestiture earlier this year of all of its Jamestown NY Medina production assets for $67 million, the Company set as a goal replacing that production (approximately 4 300 Mcf/day) by year’s end. With the on-going success of Norse Energy’s Central Upstate NY Herkimer play, the Company has not only met but has now exceeded its previous level of US natural gas production.
