NAPA’s John Stamatos to be Featured Speaker at Becker’s 12th Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC Conference
North American Partners in Anesthesia (NAPA) announced today that John Stamatos, MD, Director of Pain Management, will be a featured speaker at Becker’s 12th Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC Conference + The Future of Spine. The event will be held June 12-14, 2014 at the Westin Michigan Avenue in Chicago, Illinois.
Dr. Stamatos will be presenting on the topic, “Pain Management Implications in the ASC Setting” on Friday, June 13. Dr. Stamatos will discuss the benefits of integrating pain management services into an ASC and clinical practice. In addition, his presentation will cover the evolution of pain management in the era of healthcare reform.
"As more and more individuals are plagued with chronic pain, pain management has become an integral part of many ASCs,” said Dr. Stamatos. “ASCs offer patients a comforting, safe environment for the procedures needed to deal with their chronic pain conditions. As cases continue to increase in this setting, developing a pain management practice within an ASC can be the cornerstone of a winning strategy for facilities operating in the changing health care environment.”
John Stamatos, MD, has been the medical director for North American Partners in Pain Management, a division of North American Partners in Anesthesia, since 1999. Dr. Stamatos received his Doctor of Medicine from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD. He received his BA from Hamilton College in Clinton, NY. Dr. Stamatos is a member of the American Neuromodulation Society, American Society of Pain, American Society of Regional Anesthesia, and the International Anesthesia Research Society. He is a Diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners, a Diplomat of the American Board of Anesthesiologist and a Diplomat ABA Pain Management Subspecialty Board.
Becker’s 12th Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC Conference + The Future of Spine brings together surgeons, physician leaders, administrators and ASC business and clinical leaders to discuss how to improve your ASC and its bottom line and how to manage challenging clinical, business and financial issues.
