North American Partners in Anesthesia Expands Partnership with Columbia Memorial Health to Provide Anesthesia Services
North American Partners in Anesthesia (NAPA), the largest single specialty anesthesia and perioperative management company in the United States, today announced the expansion of its partnership with Columbia Memorial Hospital in Hudson, NY, the flagship hospital of the Columbia Memorial Health System.
NAPA has previously been providing anesthesia services for gastroenterology patients at the hospital.
As a result of its exemplary performance and its position as the nation’s leader in anesthesia services, the relationship has been expanded, resulting in NAPA being selected as the exclusive provider for all anesthesia services at the hospital. In this expanded role, NAPA will align with administrative and clinical leadership to provide the highest quality of perioperative and anesthesia care. The onsite anesthesia team will be led by the site’s Anesthesia Chair, Matthew Breckenridge, MD.

NAPA also has developed and leads a wellness service for hospital staff and patients. The program, Thyme Retreat, promotes a healthy workplace to employees through services including registered dietitian consultation and planning, certified yoga instruction including meditation and relaxation, and licensed massage therapy. Wellness services are also available to obstetrical and orthopedic patients, which has proven to be successful in improving patient satisfaction, length of stay and patient outcomes. In addition, NAPA provides gastroenterology services through its gastroenterologist, Rodney Camp, DO.

Currently, NAPA provides anesthesia and management services to 79 hospitals and over 50 ASCs in 11 states.
