North American Partners in Anesthesia to Present at 10th Annual Orthopedic, Spine and Pain Management-Driven ASC Conference
Conference in Chicago June 14-16 to feature most progressive thinkers in the field
Melville, NY (June 14, 2012) — North American Partners in Anesthesia (NAPA) is pleased to participate in the 2012 Becker's Orthopedic, Spine and Pain Management-Driven ASC Conference, an event that will bring together some of the most forward-thinking and experienced leaders in the healthcare industry.
This year's three-day conference is focused on improving profitability and business and legal issues. More than 134 speakers from across the country — including 30 physician leaders and 25 healthcare CEOs — will provide insight on topics most relevant to healthcare organizations and leaders today.
The conference includes more than 102 sessions focused on topics such as physician-hospital joint ventures, the biggest threats to orthopedic programs, evolutions in pain management and the effects of healthcare reform on orthopedics and spine programs.

NAPA Director of Ambulatory Surgery Centers, Dr. Charles Militana will be amongst the speakers at the event, presenting on June 15 at 4:50pm on the topic “Maximizing ASC and Anesthesia Group Relationships”. The presentation will give the audience a glimpse into how the anesthesia department’s goals institute best practices into ASCs and ultimately lead to their success. In addition to serving as NAPA Director of Ambulatory Surgery Centers, Dr. Militana functions as Director of Anesthesia at the Dorothy & Alvin Schwartz Ambulatory Surgery Center, North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, New York.
