Clarification on Media Reports

Luxemburg, April 18, 2013 – Northland Resources S.A. (OSE: NAUR, Frankfurt: NPK, First North/Nasdaq: NAURo – together with its subsidiaries, “Northland” or “the Company”) notes that Swedish and Norwegian media have been reporting on the ongoing discussions for the long term financing of the Company.

The Company has been made aware of a segment in Swedish Radio and an article in the Norwegian newspaper Finansavisen yesterday about Northland Resources current work to finalize the long term financing.

These articles are not based on interviews with Northland and its management.

The process regarding the long term financing is going according to plan and the Company will inform the market as soon as more information is available.
