Vancouver, February 7, 2007:  Mr. Buck Morrow, President of Northland Resources Inc. (TSX-V: NAU, "Northland"), is pleased to announce the appointment of Allen Gordon as Vice President, Business Development.

 

In addition to assuming the overall responsibility for moving Northland's extensive portfolio of iron projects through to the development phase, Mr. Gordon's responsibilities will include coordination of environmental studies and permit applications, liaising with Corus Consulting on the Stora Sahavaara metallurgical testing, and completion of Scoping Studies for Stora Sahavaara and Hannukainen.

 

Mr. Gordon has over 30 years' experience in operational and business leadership roles within the international mining industry. With an MS in Mining Engineering and a BSc in Geology from the University of Idaho, he has managed numerous mining operations and has either led or contributed to the development and operation of some of the most significant gold and silver mines in the Western North America. He is a Founding Registered Member of the Society of Mining Metallurgy and Exploration

 

He will also have managerial responsibility for the on-going exploration programs in Norrbotten and Finnish Lapland.
