The UK’s Largest LEGO® statue unveiled at the London premiere of Marvel’s Avengers Age of Ultron’

To celebrate the April 23rd release of the Marvel Studios film, LEGO® created a life-size Hulk Buster Smash model.  Iron Man’s iconic suit stands over 2.5m high, 2.3m wide and weighs a ton.

The giant build took six professional builders over 960 hours to build, and used over a million LEGO bricks, the most for any LEGO statue built in the UK, ever.

LEGO® and Marvel first joined forces in March to announce a line of collectable play-sets featuring the all-star cast: Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Captain America (Chris Evans) and  Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner).   For more ionformation about the fun sets visit MarvelSuperHeroes.LEGO.com.
