The demand for Norrtelje Elektronik’s services is high. This can be seen from the company’s latest four-monthly report, which shows net sales of SEK 91 million for the first four months of the year - an increase of 44 per cent on the corresponding period in 1999. Operating profit has risen to SEK 3.1 million, compared with SEK 1.2 million for the first four months of 1999. SEK 200 million in doubled volume of orders In recent months Norrtelje Elektronik has won several new and large orders. Its order book amounts to SEK 203 million, which is more than twice the volume of orders in November 1999. "We have experienced high growth among our existing customers," says sales manager Björn Rilegård. "At the same time we have acquired a number of new and promising customers - without losing any of our existing ones." Expanding rapidly: sixth place among manufacturing companies "We’re also gratified by the fact of our being the sixth fastest growing manufacturing company in Sweden, according to Svenska Dagbladet’s growth list, which is published in June," continues Björn Rilegård. This position was achieved thanks to an annual average growth of 27.1 per cent in the last five years. Net sales in 1999 amounted to SEK 215 million. Global electronics production Norrtelje Elektronik provides flexible electronics production and customised logistics worldwide via an international network of electronics producers. The electronics output at Norrtälje is used, for example, in mobile phone systems, various types of IT solutions, satellite receivers, payment terminals used by banks, medical electronics and equipment for communicating via the ordinary electric mains. "Since November our volume of orders has more than doubled to SEK 203 million," says Norrtelje Elektronik’s sales manager, Björn Rilegård.
