NOTE - now also an educational company

The electronic manufacturer NOTE Norrtelje, part of the NOTE group of companies has been approved as educational unit for soft soldering for FSD 5115 of (FMV) The Defence Matériel Administration.

- It is unusual that a manufacturing company receive this approval. It is normally mainly educational companies that can offer this kind of education. We are very pleased, says NOTE CEO Sten Dybeck. In the Norrtelje factory educational premises has been fitted that meets with the FMV approval. There are special demands on ventilation, size of working areas, material etc. in accordance with several standards of the defence administration. NOTE Norrtelje was the first EMS supplier in Sweden to receive the environment certificate ISO 14001 and received an honorable mention for best industrial environmental report 1999. NOTE Torsby will also be certified in the days to come in accordance with ISO 14001.. During year 2001 NOTE Norrtelje has started educations of operators in their own production standard IPC A-610. The company has two instructors of their own and there is a large interest judging from the number of inquiries received. - We have carried out IPC-education for our employees and now we are also offering this kind of education for our customers. It is a bonus that we now also can offer education for soldering certification, says Sten Dybeck.
