NOTE Norrtelje wan the contest of best co-operation with the school

The co-operation project between NOTE Norrtelje AB and The School of Roslagen in Norrtälje received the first price in the regional contest of the best co-operation between business and the school. The purpose with the contest, that was initiated by the economic life of Sweden and the National Federation of Teachers, is to promote good examples and inspire to more co-operations between school and industry and commerce.

The aim with NOTE´s project has been to interest the students for technique, especially the electronic trade. It is very important for us as a company to understand how the young people think and feel today, it is the young generation that will run companies like NOTE in the future, says Mikael Sjödahl, Project leader on NOTE Norrtelje. NOTE Norrtelje and The School of Roslagen has been cooperating for three years and the students receive through the cooperation access to the company’s knowledge in advanced production of electronics through educational visit and work experience program on NOTE and through NOTEs staff that teaches the classes at the school. - Our students within electronics has received an insight in the company by the cooperation. We are very grateful for NOTE´s engagement in the education. The students has appreciated the cooperation and I notice how they grow as persons during the periods of practice, Ola Nässén, The School of Roslagen, tells us. Now all that remains is to look forward. Of totally 205 nominated contributions only 21 regional winners remains that will participate in the national contest in Stockholm May, 22. - Naturally we hope that our cooperation project will go far in the final, but this is just the icing of the cake, right now we are working with our planning for our continued cooperation with The School of Roslagen, Mikael Sjödahl finishes.
