Turnover up 57% for Norrtelje Elektronik

Second four-month period Norrtelje Elektronik had a turnover of SEK 109.2 millions during the period May to August this year, to be compared with SEK 69.6 millions during the same period last year. This appears from our latest four-month period report. The operating profit for the period has increased even more: from SEK 1.7 m to SEK 5.1 m. Large demand We have obtained many entirely new customers, which has increased our total of customers during the period. At the same time we have received many inquiries. It is a long time ago since we had so many pending offers as now, says our Sales Manager Björn Rilegård. By the commence of this four-month period we had a backlog of orders of SEK 203 m, at the close of the period SEK 217 m. The growth is mainly within informationtechnique, telekommunication and securitysystems. New "all time high" turnover? Until August this year Norrtelje Elektronik had a turnover of SEK 200.4 m. The figure should be compared with 1999 "all time high" of SEK 132.4 m for the first eight months.
