NRC Group ASA - Appointed to a contract in Finland - EUR 10.9 million

Tampere Tramway Ltd has appointed Tampere Tramway Alliance, in which NRC Finland Oy, a company wholly owned by NRC Group ASA, is a participant, to a contract for tramway maintenance work in Tampere city center in Finland.

The contract will involve the maintenance of the new tramline in the city of Tampere, where the commercial traffic is due to begin in 2021.

The contract is divided into a development phase which commences in February 2019 and ends in May 2022 with an estimated contract value of EUR 4.6 million. The maintenance phase commences in May 2022 and ends in February 2029 with an estimated contract value of EUR 17.2 million.

The contract is valued totally at approximately EUR 21.8 million, and NRC Finland´s share of the contract is 50 %. The other participant of the contract is YIT Finland Ltd.
