NRC GROUP ASA - APPOINTED TO A CONTRACT IN NORWAY - NOK 793 MILLION

Bane NOR has appointed NRC Bane AS and Norge Anlegg AS, companies wholly owned by NRC Group ASA, to a contract for building 13.6 kilometers of double track on the railway connection between Nykirke and Barkåker.

The project is part of the ongoing modernization of the Vestfold line. The contract is valued at approximately NOK 793 million and will involve rail services such as track, electro and groundwork.

The design phase of the project is expected to commence in fourth quarter 2019 and the construction phase will commence in 2022 for completion in 2024.

Closing date for submission of complaints is 10 days from today, and formal contractual signing can take place after this period at the earliest.
