NRC GROUP ASA - APPOINTED TO A MAJOR CONTRACT IN SWEDEN - SEK 115 MILLION

The Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket) has appointed Segermo Entreprenad AB, a company wholly owned by NRC Group ASA, to a contract relating to the ongoing railway renewal of the railroad between Ludvika and Frövi in Sweden.

The contract is for renewal of the approximately 7 kilometer railway connection between Vedevåg and Lindesberg, being part 2 of the Ludvika - Frövi renewal, and involves rail services such as groundwork, track, electro and signal. The contract is valued at approximately SEK 115 million.

The contract also includes an option for Trafikverket to include the connection from Lindesberg to Storå, being part 3 of the Ludvika - Frövi renewal, in the same contract. This work will relate to renewal of approximately 10 kilometer railway and will involve rail services such as groundwork, track, electro and signal. The option must be exercised by Trafikverket within 31 October 2016, and will, if exercised, result in a total contract value of approximately SEK 230 million.

The work will commence in April 2016, and the project is scheduled for completion in October 2017. Closing date for submission of complaints is 10 days from today, and formal contractual signing can take place after this period at the earliest. Oslo, 2. March 2016
