Washington, D.C. Real Estate Team Jumps from No. 10 to No.7 in National Rankings

WASHINGTON, DC (February 27, 2014) – The Mandy & David Team, led by Mandy Mills and David Getson with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s Dupont Circle office, have been named the No.7 sales team in North America  by Coldwell Banker®. The team closed over $131 million in sales in 2013, surpassing their sales record from 2012 of $104 million.

 Mandy and David have several unique marketing approaches to the properties they list, including community-driven events. They have found success in hosting “Neighbor Parties” at the listings before they are posted on the MLS .In addition, they throw “Pricing Parties” for brokers to drum up interest and buy-in for the properties they list.

The team is well known for their philanthropic efforts throughout the greater DC area.  Last week, Mills joined the advisory board of Fair Chance, an organization that partners with community-based non-profits serving children, youth and families in Washington, D.C. to improve their capacity, strengthen their sustainability, impact and success. Their slogan is “every child deserves a fair chance.” In addition, the team hosts an annual fundraiser for the Washington Animal Rescue League called “Santa Dog,” a dog and owner photo shoot during the holiday season.  The team also supports the Human Rights Campaign, Bancroft Elementary PTA, St. Colletta of Greater Washington, Amazing Life Games Preschool and the National Center for Children and Families.

In 2011, the Mandy & David Team was named the No.1 Coldwell Banker team in the DC area and was included in The Wall Street Journal’s list of the Top 250 Real Estate Teams, with just over $51 million in sales.
