New Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to NS Group AB Thomas Nörby joins NS Group AB as CFO, he will be in place at 2000-08-01, and will be responsible for economics, finance and investor relations. Thomas joins from Althin Medical AB in Ronneby where he has been working with similar tasks as CFO and as Vice President in Althin's global operations since 1998. - NS Group is an exciting company in the new economy and it will be a stimulating and exciting task to be involved in NS Group's international expansion and upcoming IPO. It's encouraging to see that NS Group has grown and still is growing rapidly and at the same time is profitable when they also continue to do considerable investments in research and development, says Thomas Nörby. In 1989 to 1998 Thomas was engaged at the Electrolux Group where he, among other things served as Chief in economics- and administration at Electrolux Storkök AB in Alingsås. The last 2 years at Electrolux Thomas was installed in South East Asia, Bangkok where he applied his skills as Senior Vice President Finance and Administration, this included all of Electrolux operations within this geographic area. - Thomas competence and experience as CFO in a company listed on the stock-market and his proven track record from international operations will be invaluable assets to us and we are pleased to have him in our team.
