New Mobile Application Gives Smart Phone Users Flexible Access to NueMD Billing Software  

ATLANTA (April 13, 2011) – Nuesoft Technologies today unveiled Nuesoft™ Mobile, its new application for iOS (iPhone®, iPad® and iPod® touch) devices.  The application, or app, is available in beta format for free to users of Nuesoft’s NueMD® medical billing solution, and will provide users of smart phones, tablets and other mobile devices with easy access to their patient charts and schedule within NueMD.  

“Mobile apps are the future of healthcare technology, and we are excited to be on the forefront of offering this technology to our users,” said Nuesoft CEO and President Massoud Alibakhsh. “As more doctors start using handheld devices in their practices, it is important that we offer them equally innovative access to their patient data and records.”

Specific features of the app include charge capture functionality, an appointment viewer, Electronic Chart Management (ECM), and the ability to attach voice notes, images or other files to patient records. The app also includes a Local Mode that provides non-network access if needed, but automatically updates all data to NueMD once a connection is restored. 

Nuesoft Mobile will soon be available for Android™ devices as well.
