Trio of NGC-certified Coins Break $1 Million Each at FUN
SARASOTA, Fla. (January 16, 2014) — Three rare coins certified by Numismatic Guaranty Corporation® (NGC®) each broke $1 million at Heritage Auctions’ FUN Show sale last week. The elusive 1787 Brasher Doubloon, graded NGC MS 63, led the sale with a price realized of nearly $4.6 million. It is the finest certified example of the first gold coin struck in the United States.
