Inside information: Nurminen Logistics' Board of Directors and CEO have agreed on a planned CEO transition

The Board of Directors of Nurminen Logistics Plc and the company's CEO Olli Pohjanvirta have agreed on the planned CEO transition. Pohjanvirta will continue as CEO until 31.12.2026 and will then act as an advisor to the new CEO during the agreed transition period to ensure a controlled management transition. Pohjanvirta will continue in his current board positions as a member of the Boards of Directors of Nurminen Logistics Plc and its subsidiary, North Rail Oy.
The transition is based on the shared vision of the Board of Directors and Pohjanvirta on the company's long-term succession planning and supporting Nurminen Logistics' next growth phase. The company has a strong position to continue delivering growth in international rail logistics services. Nurminen Logistics has advanced its expansion into Sweden and Western Europe in line with its strategy, leveraging the scalable block train concept developed by the company. The company's high service quality, strong customer relationships and skilled personnel provide a solid foundation for future growth and competitiveness.
