Nurminen Logistics has concluded the co-determination procedure with employees working in Finland. The procedure considered temporary lay-offs of all of the staff of the Nurminen Logistics Plc up to 90 days before 31 March 2021 and temporary lay-offs up to 90 days regarding the members of staff transferred from PFC Nordic Oy to Nurminen Logistics Services Oy before 27 October 2020.

At present, the countermeasures against COVID-19 have caused minor adjustments to the company’s operation. Following the conclusion of co-determination procedures, possible actions will be made in business units based on the impact the situation has on operations. The agreed actions include for example the opportunity to convert vacation remuneration to vacation days, partial temporary lay-off, voluntary withholdment of wages, and temporary work leaves, such as child care leave and study leave, as a part of actions.

The Group will only give further announcements of actions related to co-determination procedures in case there is a substantial effect on business operations. The Group’s management is actively following up on the current events and aims to secure customer service.
