Nurminen Logistics strengthens its management team to achieve growth targets and streamline responsibilities

Nurminen Logistics Plc has appointed two new management team members to achieve strategic growth targets.
Bachelor of Engineering Niko Orpana (b.1972) has been appointed Vice President, Multimodal & Bulk Terminal Operations and a member of the Management Team. He joins Nurminen Logistics from Rauanheimo from the position of regional director. Orpana brings the necessary expertise to the company to build future multimodal service solutions and Operail cooperation. He will start in the position on 15.5.2023.
Nurminen Logistics' Vice President, Sales, Marjut Linnajärvi, is appointed to the company's Management Team and is responsible for railway business and sales. Linnajärvi has been employed by the company since 2014.
Joonas Louho, a member of the Management Team, will be responsible for cargo business development for technology and industrial customers, forwarding, and ICT operations. Louho's title is VP Cargo Technology.
Nurminen Logistics Plc's other members of the Management Team are:

• Kai Simberg, Interim CFO
• Suvi Kulmala, VP, Human Resources
All members of the Management Team report to President and CEO Olli Pohjanvirta.
With the changes, the role of the COO will cease to exist, and the member of the Management Team, Tuomas Kansikas, will leave the company.
