Olli Pohjanvirta has been appointed as the CEO of Nurminen Logistics Plc
Olli Pohjanvirta, Master of Laws, has been appointed as the CEO of Nurminen Logistics Plc. Since 25th May 2020, he has acted as the company's interim CEO and will continue as CEO from 13th November 2020. Olli Pohjanvirta is also continuing as Chairman of the Board.
Nurminen Logistics Plc aims for significant growth in container train traffic between Europe and China. Pohjanvirta has been establishing china's container train business since its inception. “The significant improvements to the company’s cost structure implemented in summer and autumn 2020 and the capital structure and real estate arrangements mentioned in the stock exchange release at 12th of November 2020 will speed up the company’s turnaround and will give a good basis for the development of business according to the company’s strategy”, says Olli Pohjanvirta.
