Nustay – new international website launched, including flights, car rental and airport transfers
Nustay A/S (“Nustay”) hereby announce that the global rollout of their new international website has been completed. The new interface includes several new profit-making features, including flight-tickets, car rental, and airport transfer services – all of which are offered through premium partnerships. At the same time, the launch opens up several new and very large geographical markets for the company, such as Japan, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia and Hong Kong. Nustay is now present in 26 markets with a local website.
Nustay has been rolling out the new website since December 2019 and the management informs that there are already noticable improvements on key KPI’s such as site bounce rate, load times and conversion rates and the new website will further facilitate the development of the Nustay mobile app. Finally, the new website brings Nustay’s brand identity in line with the company’s updated Brand Guidelines, which aim to bolster Nustay’s market presence and deliver a better user experience.

Flights, car rental, and airport transfer partnerships:
The new site includes access to three new services: flight tickets, car rental, and airport transfer services. These are being offered through premium partnerships, namely, Gotogate.com (flight tickets), Rentalcars.com (car rental), and Mozio (airport transfer). The partnerships allow customers to access all these services directly from Nustay’s site, thus further improving their user-experience. Apart from improving the customer experience, these premium partnerships help the company add to its top-line revenue with limited risk.
Technical improvements:
The new website has been written using a Microservices approach combined with some new programming languages. The reasoning behind this was threefold: (1) to lower site load speeds, thus improving conversion rates and decreasing bounce rates; (2) facilitate the development of a mobile app; and (3) to allow for more efficient changes and testing to be made to the website moving forward.
The site meets new Brand Guidelines:
Over Q4 2019 Nustay established new and fresh Brand Guidelines to better meet Nustay’s vision of offering the best possible booking experience. The Brand Guidelines, which will ensure a consistent and recognizable brand identity across all channels, has been the bedrock of the design process. To this end, Nustay’s design, content and marketing teams have worked in close collaboration to ensure the new frontend is in line with the Company’s branding aims and guidelines.
