Belize Tourism Board Brings Deep Sea, Mayan Mysteries to “The Balancing Act” on Lifetime TV

Unspoiled Caribbean Getaway offers Family Fun from Dazzling Diving to Rich Mayan Heritage

 (Pompano Beach, FL – June 27, 2012) Known as Mother Nature’s Best Kept Secret, Belize is one of the last unspoiled places on earth.  You won’t want to miss this mini travelogue on the June 29th episode of the hit morning TV show “The Balancing Act” airing at 7 am (ET/PT) on Lifetime Television as the Belize Tourism Board engages viewers to “Be One with Belize.”

This year, Belize is celebrating the Year of the Maya. Dr. Jaime Awe, archeologist, also joins the show to tell viewers about the year-long festivities planned honoring Belize’s ancient civilization and Mayan heritage. Travelers can tour the Mayan sites, explore ceremonial caves and learn from the rich artifacts that carry on their living history.
