IMPROVED ORDER TAKE DURING THE FOURTH QUARTER

Report this content

The order take increased during the fourth quarter 2010 to about 20 MSEK. The preliminary order backlog at the year-end amounts to approximately 23 MSEK. The conditioned purchase order received from a LED manufacturer in September 2010, concerning a NIL production system valued at 8 MSEK, is not included in the order backlog.

The orders, concerning NIL systems, has been received from prestigious customers such as CEA-LETI, a leading institute within research in micro- and nanotechnology based in France and Fudan University based in Shanghai, China. During the last six months orders for NIL-systems has also been obtained from the Lippmann Institute in Luxemburg as well as from a US based company that previously

used Obducat equipment at a university in the US. The customer aims at producing test components, which are intended for use in connection with dialysis treatments, for the purposes of using them in field tests. The customer plans to commence volume production later this year.

During the second half of 2010 the work with closing orders has been intensified – something which now is beginning to show result. The company has made changes in the way it works with the customers and the expectation is that this will, continuously during 2011, create the opportunity to maintain the positive trend that can be concluded from the fourth quarter.
