Obducat receives order for an EITRE® 8 NIL-system and three lithography tools for resist- and wet processing from a customer in Asia
OBDUCAT AB (publ) subsidiary Obducat Technologies AB and Obducat Europe GmbH, leading suppliers of lithography processing solutions and nanoimprint lithography (NIL) tools, have received orders from a customer in Asia, for the supply of a EITRE 8 NIL-system as well as a coater, developer and cleaner. The order value amounts to approx. 6.6 million SEK.
The lithography system will be installed in the cleanroom facilities of the customer where it will be used for development and pilot production primarily focused on optical and photonic components. Obducat was awarded the contracts after successfully demonstrating superior capabilities enabling high quality imprinting.
” We have been benchmarked against our competitors and have successfully proved to the customer that our lithography techniques enable imprint of complex nano structures required in next generation optical and photonic components such as AR products (Augmented Reality). The customer plays a significant role in supporting their domestic industry with development support in this technology field. We see this contract award as a proof of our leading position in the nano lithography space and we have new groundbreaking technology developments that will be released within short that we expect to further strengthening our position.”, says Patrik Lundström, Chairman of Obducat.
