OBDUCAT SIGNS MOU WITH CANON MARKETING JAPAN

OBDUCAT AB, the world leading supplier of lithography solutions based on Nano imprint lithography and E-beam lithography, is pleased to announce that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Canon Marketing Japan, a subsidiary of Japan’s Canon Inc., the world's leading Digital Imaging Company.

Under the terms of the agreement, Canon Marketing Japan will do sales promotion of Obducat’s products in Japan. The understanding also incorporates an intention to conclude a distribution agreement. Canon Marketing Japan is the domestic marketer of all Canon Inc. Products. Its Industrial Equipment Division is involved in sales and servicing of Canon’s Semiconductor Equipment, Equipment for LCD Displays as well as various measuring tools.

As a result of the MoU with Canon Marketing Japan, Obducat will cease all activities with Sumitomo Corporation and transfer all ongoing customer contacts to Canon Marketing Japan.
